Phi Mu Endowed Scholarship

The Arkansas Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity House Corporation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Phi Mu Endowed Scholarship at the University of Arkansas to commemorate the Chapter’s 100th anniversary. The purpose of this Endowed Scholarship is to further advance the Fraternity’s mission to provide academic development and service to others and help recipients “imagine, believe, and achieve their aspirations.”

The minimum amount needed to endow a scholarship at the University of Arkansas is $25,000. With your help, we can reach the endowed level of $25,000 that would live in perpetuity.

The Phi Mu Endowed Scholarship will be administered by the Scholarship Committee in coordination with the University of Arkansas Division of Student Affairs. They will define the scholarship criteria and selection process for the Endowed Scholarship which is exclusively for the benefit of full-time students within the Phi Mu Alpha Beta Chapter. Scholarships will be awarded to recipients who embrace and reflect the values of Phi Mu through their leadership and service in the chapter and campus community. Preference will be given to students with a financial need and a designated minimum grade point average.

Support the Endowment

This Endowed Scholarship announcement coincides with our 100th anniversary of Phi Mu at the University of Arkansas. To celebrate this special occasion, we invite you to make an impact on the lives of Alpha Beta Sisters in a meaningful way.

Regardless of the size of your tax-deductible gift, alumni and friends can provide a reliable stream of support for academic success and encourage others to give as well. State funds and tuition alone do not meet the cost of educating today’s students.

Ways to Give

Contributions of any amount can be made as a one-time gift or on a monthly or annual basis. There is no limit to how large the Endowment can be – a larger endowment will produce a greater number of scholarships.

Give Online: Make a secure, tax-deductible gift today with our online giving platform.

Make a Planned Gift: Planned gift donations can be made through a legal allocation in life insurance plans, real estate, retirement plans or bequests through a donor’s estate. Contact Ben Carter, University of Student Affairs Development, at (479) 575-4663 or bcarter@uark.edu to learn more about this option for planned giving.

Make a Matching Gift: An easy way to double your donation to the Phi Mu Endowed Scholarship is to determine if your employer has a matching gift program. Visit Matching Gifts to learn if your employer participates in a gift matching program.
